Search The X3 Help System-AuthServ Accounts- Before using ChanServ or being added to channel userlists, you and your users must register an account with AuthServ. /MSG AuthServ help to learn how. -Talking to ChanServ- ChanServ uses a standard interface for each command in its command list. Commands can be issued either in /MSG format or in a channel which ChanServ is in. These two ways are demonstrated below: /MSG ChanServ OP #chatzone Locke .OP #chatzone locke If a command is given in a channel, and the channel parameter is not given, the channel that the command was issued in will be used: .OP locke Some commands, such as NETINFO don't require a channel. If one is supplied it will be ignored. If a command takes additional parameters asside from channel, they will be expected as well.
